New Beginnings

About a year ago now I had a travel blog about my gap year volunteering in Ghana and now that I’m no longer there and no longer blogging I find myself at a bit of a loose end.

I often find myself sitting at home idly drifting from one thing to another to fill the void of boredom that inevitably rolls around. As of late I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe what I needed was my fingers to be dancing across a keyboard again. So I’ve decided I’m back, on a new blog, laptop and iPhone in hand, letting my thoughts and interests flow free.

I’m not going to say I’m an interesting person that demands the attention of the blogosphere, but here’s a brief outline of me: I’m a 20 year old Scottish chick soon to be moving to the other side of the country to start University to study Education. Whilst travelling and working as a volunteer primary teacher in my previously mentioned gap year I uncovered a desire to become a teacher back at home and I am beyond excited to begin my journey towards that goal. I have an undying love for cats, green tea, travelling and reading. Continuing on the journey of self exploration and discovering parts of myself I haven’t yet.

From abruptly finishing a blog to starting another I’m excited to see where this goes.
